Near Toroni, Halkidiki, Greece (via Andrei Dragomir)
Halkidiki is a three-pronged peninsula which extends southward into the Aegean Sea from the centre of Macedonia-Greece. As a result of its shape and the proximity of the sea, Halkidiki benefits from a mild climate and has the longest coastline on mainland Greece. The three smaller peninsulas that form Halkidiki are all beautiful but also very different. They are called Kassandra, Sithonia and Agion Oros. Sithonia provides excellent routes for walks, trekking or even for mountain bike. The diversity of green and blue highlights on the water creates a magical atmosphere.
